Now into its 18th year, Soul City continues to provide a lively alternative to the house and trance music dominating the rest of the island. This year, original resident DJ Horse is back alongside Mister I to keep things jumping seven nights a week.

As Soul City's popularity has increased, it's attracted some competition from other operators. The early 2010 season has shown the venue can more than hold its own, however, maintaining a strong crowd presence every night of the week, and representing with a diverse music policy that extends to include reggae dancehall, UK funky and garage. It's free entry, too, and unlike other bars, SC retains a licence to rock all the way through to 6am.
