Kanye and Jay to release collaborative album

By Mark Devlin | 01 September 2010

In the wake of their collaborative track 'Monster' which was released on the internet last Friday, Kanye West has confirmed that he and Jay-Z are working on a five-track mini-album to be entitled 'Watch The Throne.'

In August, Kanye had said that his own new album - which previously had the working title 'Good Ass Job' - would be released in November. A recent entry on his Twitter account read: "Me and Jay 'bout to drop a -fivesong album called 'Watch the Throne'."

A later tweet revealed pair have finished two tracks for the album, although a release date for the whole album has yet to be confirmed.

Kanye is in the midst of leaking a new track on-line every Friday between now and Christmas.

West has now said that the hip-hop giants will follow this up with a five-track record titled 'Watch The Throne'.
