We've all heard the sad news regarding Guru and his health but prayers have been answered and he is still with us. Not only is Guru still with us but so his his great and vast body of musical work.

This week, we will salute arguably the greatest MC/DJ combination ever in Gang Starr of which Guru was the voice. Royalty, taken from their classic 1998 release, Moment Of Truth, is my favourite Gang Starr track ever. This track is inspiring, uplifting, reaffirming and I feel invincible every time I hear it. Guru's first verse is especially air tight.

Guru, on behalf of Black Sheep magazine we wish you a speedy recovery. We love you and thank you for all that you have contributed to the great art form known as Hip Hop. You will always be "one of the best yet". Get well soon.
