In light of the sad news about Heavy D, it seems only right to re-post this classic Baaack In The Day, originally put up in Black Sheep Mag's first year. Whenever hip-hop heads discuss classic posse cuts, the usual suspects get rehashed - 'Scenario', 'Live at the BBQ', 'Buddy', and now, 'Forever'. The one that always get overlooked is this epic gem from Heavy D's 1991 album 'Peaceful Journey'.

 Just look at the line-up! Big Daddy Kane! Kool G Rap! Q-Tip! CL Smooth! Grand Puba! Produced by Pete Rock! And Pete even rhymes! And even Heavy himself comes nice on it!  But then he always was a vastly under-rated MC.

Barely a wack line on this. Sit back and absorb some true hip-hop nostalgia.
